4k Support
The HDMI 1.4 specification introduces support for 4K video resolutions, significantly surpassing 1080p. It supports two formats: 3840x2160 and 4096x2160, bringing home theater quality in line with digital cinema standards. Electrocoat Association
eCoat, or electrocoating, is a painting process that uses electricity to apply a consistent, thin primer coating, offering full surface coverage and long-lasting protection for metal. Peerless-AV® uses eCoat as a base primer on all products made for outdoor use.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government. The FCC works towards six goals in the areas of broadband, competition, the spectrum, the media, public safety and homeland security. A branch of the FCC oversees equipment authorization for all electronic devices.
High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI®) Certified

Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD)
The OSHPD Facilities Development Division (FDD) oversees construction projects to ensure compliance with California Building Standards. Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)
RoHS, also known as Lead-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. RoHS impacts the entire electronics industry and many electrical products as well.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global safety science organization that tests products for safety and reliability. A UL Listing mark indicates a product has passed strict testing, including strength and "pull out" tests to at least four times its rated load capacity, as defined by UL1678 and UL2442 standards.
Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)
VESA® sets industry-wide interface standards for mounting in the electronics industry. Products with the VESA symbol have mounting hole patterns compatible with VESA-standard AV equipment. Most Peerless-AV® products support a variety of VESA mounting configurations, with compatibility details available on product pages and spec sheets.
